Takayama Festival |
| The events generally called the Takayama Matsuri (Takayama Festival), refers to the spring Sanno Matsuri (April 14th & 15th), and the autumn Hachiman Matsuri (October 9th & 10th). In both festivals, the processions and floats go along the Yasugawa street. |

Senryu (poetry) Lanterns |
| Each year, exceptional phrases are selected from Senryu poems gathered from all over Japan, and are recorded in “Andon” for display from mid-July until the end of August in the shopping street. |
